Mindfulness
guidance
"Just breathe." How often have we heard that? And why is it so hard to do?

Taking the time to breathe grounds us in the present moment, and that can be life-changing.

Unfortunately, it’s often difficult to modify entrenched habits or to understand how mindfulness can tackle real problems. This is where a skilled guide can help.
ABOUT ME
My name is Carol Teichgrab. The connection between mind and body health has always fascinated me.
When I had my own practice as a licensed massage practitioner and provided collaborative healthcare with medical professionals, I encouraged mindfulness in my clients. My curiosity led to a degree in Community Psychology from the University of Washington, a state counseling certificate (CL) and a Science of Mindful Awareness meditation instruction certificate.

I began my career in social services in 2012, and again I saw how acutely mind and body health were intertwined. By 2015 I was leading mindfulness presentations, initially developing general sessions for adults and then expanding to women’s health and wellness centers.
Requests for sessions from additional organizations and companies prompted me to launch Breathing Space, named after my primary objective: To teach people how to give themselves enough space to breathe. Once you can breathe, you can cultivate your own version of living in the moment.

How I Can
Help You

My intention is for attendees to finish each session with personalized strategies for immediately incorporating mindfulness into their own lives.
